Why we exist
Most people find out what a funeral costs at the worst possible moment — three days after losing someone, sitting across from a funeral director with a price list. The national median for a funeral with a viewing and burial runs around $8,300, and closer to $10,000 once you add a vault. Most families don't have that sitting in an account.
Coverage for exactly this problem has existed for decades. It's sold badly. The standard playbook is a mailer, then an appointment, then an agent in your living room for two hours with a binder. That process is expensive, it's slow, and it pressures people into decisions at the kitchen table.
We rebuilt it around one phone call. We connect you with independent, carrier-appointed agents who work with multiple carriers, so they can tell you honestly when a different company is a better fit for your age and health history. You get real numbers on the first call, and you decide on your own time.
Coverage by phone, not at your kitchen table
The traditional final expense model sends an agent to your house for two hours. We think that's a bad trade for you. A phone call gets you the same agent and the same carriers, and you can end it whenever you want.
